school projects are FUN!!..... I'm being serious

Isn't this exciting?!? A project for school! YAY!!!!

SO guess what? I'm in a Rock N' Roll themed Literature class.

Yes... its awesome. Our homework was to listen to two Rolling Stones' albums and two Beatles' albums. All we did in class was discuss and contrast the two.

However, a large portion of my grade is based on this website project I'm doing in a group.

Our title is Rock N' Roy G. Biv or just Rock N' Roy.

This is themed towards having a different color every week for the course of 5 weeks.

Also, each person has to write a feature paper.

So here are my ideas so far

1st option

- the X-Factor of songs... you know the songs that make you bob your head, tap your feel, jiggle your buttocks, and nod your head.

I wanted to do some research into what makes a song do this to your body. What do all these songs have similarities in? ect ect ect.

2nd option

- Write a song for every color we choose. Explain the lyrics, explain how it relates to the colors. Basically, it wouldn't be as research intensive, and it would be easier to write 2000-2500 words about; however, it would be very time consuming writing 5 decent songs and recording them.

Ok, so maybe I've only thought of two things right now. I'd love some feedback though. Ideas, expansions on my ideas, or just criticism of my ideas.

It was sounding good, but for a change Q was messing up instead of me.

So what does he do, cut out every part he messed up on and butcher everything I did well

including my solo!!! Ahhhhh!!! hahaha. The original solo might have been the best solo I've played in my entire life. But he cut it. Ouch.

Anyway, I just thought I'd throw this up there for your entertainment.

Just figured I'd start off with an icebreaker since those are exciting.

Actually, let me just give you the scoop on my blog.

The main direction I'd like to take this blog is that of music.

Writing music, recording music, reviewing music, and just anything else that crosses my mind.

My musical influences range from Middle Eastern (Israeli) to all types of Rock N' Roll 1950's til the recent.

However, I will not limit this blog to only rock as I would like to expirement with hip-hop-ish beats, middle eastern sounds, and hebrew lyrics.

Yes, I do play an instrument. Guitar. (original I know.)

I also sing.

I am more than open to harsh commenting as long as its constructive. The more mistakes are pointed out, the more I'll be learning which is the partial reasoning of this blog being created in the first place.
